Panagbenga Festival is also known as “Baguio Flower Festival”. It is one of the main highlights Baguio City has in the early year of 2012. This festival features different kinds of flowers, which is the main attraction and the subject of the feast. Panagbenga 2012 is officially opened and was launched last November 14, 2011. The festival is in the the 17th year of celebration with the theme of “Community Convergence for a Sustainable Tourism Growth” and it is expected to be more exciting and attractive as it has been since it had started. As Baguio City welcome 2012, they also arranged and prepared the entire schedule for the activities which will be held in the month long of February to 4th day of March.
